The village center of St. Martin in Passiria is a complex multifunctional construction project located in an alpine setting. The aim of the project was to create a central venue for cultural, social, and public activities. The building complex consists of a multifunctional building with an underground car park, a community and association center, a stage, and a rehearsal room. The facilities are designed for events held both inside the buildings and on the adjacent public square.
Our services included structural design and geotechnical engineering. Structural planning addressed the varying functional requirements, large spans within the event areas, and the integration of the underground parking structure into the overall building system. A key element of the project was the design of a technically demanding excavation support system, required due to the immediately adjacent existing buildings and limited space conditions.
